Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Prem Nath Dogra fought for comprehensive unification of J&K with the rest of the country on this land (Jammu), according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. "Women and marginalized groups, like as tribals, have been given their due after Article 370 was repealed. "I congratulate Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on achieving the Rs 33,000 crore investment objective on the ground," Amit Shah stated. With a one stand vision and mission, "Our leader, Syama Prasad Mukherjee, made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that the country only had 'Ek Pradhan, Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhan'" (One Prime Minister, one flag and one Constitution). The elected head of government of J&K was known as the 'Wazir-e-Azam' (Prime Minister) under Article 370, and the state had its flag and Constitution. Continuing with the speech, Amit Shah began his remarks by bowing to Mata Vaishno Devi and paying gratitude to those who have sacrificed their lives for the motherland. Shah also complimented those members of the CRPF who have received honors for their efforts in promoting peace and unity in the country. Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi entered office in 2014, many things have been passed down in J&K; one of them is that democracy has been brought to people, every village in the area has an elected Panch and Sarpanch who were allotted with authority to strive for village development.
