Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma led a roadshow in Malappuram to introduce himself to the political scene in Kerala. The occasion served as a demonstration of support for K Surendran, the BJP's nominee for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat.

Earling in the day, taking X, the chief minister of Assam launched a vicious attack, charging Gandhi with using the Wayanad seat as a mere tool to hold onto his lavish residence in Lutyens Delhi. Sarma implied in his passionate speech that the Wayanad people had been neglected for far too long and portrayed Gandhi as an absentee member of parliament.

Sarma urged the public to join him in this decisive campaign as he rallied support for his mission to contest Gandhi's presence in Wayanad.

Declaring that "this time, the people will teach him a lesson for taking them for granted," Sarma stepped up his efforts to challenge Gandhi's sway in the area.
