Digital Desk: On February 8, federal PSU Pawan Hans Ltd will launch helicopter services on six routes connecting four important cities in Assam, which are anticipated to enhance trade and tourism.

An official release on Monday stated that connectivity on the Dibrugarh-Jorhat-Tezpur-Guwahati-Tezpur-Jorhat-Dibrugarh network will begin in this phase. According to the statement, the operationalization of these routes would make travel easier for people of the region and will enhance trade and tourism.

Pawan Hans Ltd has been allocated 86 routes under the Regional Connectivity Scheme in six states, with the first phase launching on Wednesday. Following that, the services would be launched in neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh.
