Digital Desk: Assam chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, challenged his Delhi counterpart, Arvind Kejriwal, to label him corrupt when the latter is on a Guwahati tour on Sunday.

Sarma vowed to file a defamation case against the Delhi chief minister on Friday.

Further, CM Sarma claimed that no case against him is pending in any court or agency in the nation.

CM Sarma questioned, "Which case do you have against me? I ask Arvind Kejriwal to provide just one case in which I have been accused."

Earlier, when Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal called Himanta Biswa Sarma a corrupt man, Sarma wanted to file a defamation case, but because Kejriwal spoke inside the Delhi Assembly, so according to the Assam CM he was unable to do so.

"I intended to file a defamation case. However, because Arvind Kejriwal is a coward, he criticized me in front of the Delhi Assembly. I dare him to refer to me as corrupt during his upcoming trip to Assam; if he does, I'll sue him for a defamation case the next day, just like Manish Sisodia," CM Sarma said.

Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann are set to pay a visit to Assam on Sunday to bolster the Aam Aadmi Party's presence in the state.
