The Cotton University Forum of Specially Abled has filed a police report (FIR) at the Panbazar Police Station against the RKB Hostel boarders' violent act.
Digital Desk: At least three students, including two ‘specially-abled’ students from the Cotton Sahid Mujamil Haq (CM) Hostel, were allegedly assaulted by goons from the Rajanikanta Bordoloi (RKB) Hostel at Guwahati's Cotton University on Saturday.
As shown in the video, the RKB boarders brutally attacked one student last night, who has been identified as Bharat. Bharat was preparing for his exam that was supposed to take place today but that he had missed due to serious injuries.
While the same RKB Hostel boarders also physically assaulted two other students who were "specially abled."
The same thing has broken windows and damaged the hostel's rooms.
The Cotton University Forum of Specially Abled has filed a police report (FIR) at the Panbazar P.S. against the RKB Hostel boarders' violent act.
The University Authority has not yet taken any legal action against the violent students.
According to reports, a second FIR will likely be filed in the matter.
It should be mentioned that the residents of the same hostel got into a physical altercation on Thursday, during which one resident, Diganta Baishya, was seen on camera carrying a bamboo stick and threatening to hit out at students.
