Digital Desk: According to information provided by the municipal health department, Delhi recorded 2,162 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with a positive rate of 12.64%, and five more persons passed away as a result of the illness.

The city has recorded more than 2,000 instances in a day for the past 12 days in a row.

On Saturday, Delhi reported 2,031 cases with a positive rate of 12.34% and nine deaths attributable to COVID-19.

There were 10 deaths on Friday, the most in the previous six months, and there were 2,136 cases with a positive rate of 15.02 percent.

On February 13, the national capital reported 12 COVID-19-related fatalities.
According to the health department's most recent bulletin, 17,106 COVID-19 tests were used to identify the new cases on Sunday.

With the additional infections and fatalities, Delhi now has 19,84,595 cases and 26,381 fatalities, according to the statement.
