Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, has claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party
failed as a political start-up and that they have since been trying to sell the
same thing. "AAP is a political startup that has failed. They haven't
advanced to the point of being an MSME even after ten years. They have been
attempting to sell the same item without delivery confirmation for the past ten
years "Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, made the
statement while at an event in the capital on Saturday. He had before made fun
of the Congress for holding recently and predicted that people who supported
Shashi.
The CM for Assam
remarked, "Even before the votes were counted, the outcome of the
so-called internal elections within the Congress was known and declared. The
1,000 delegates who had the guts to support Shashi Tharoor were the sole
democratic members of the Congress. They should soon join BJP, in my
opinion." Sandeep Dikshit, a congressman, responded to Himanta Biswa
Sarma's remark by saying that he voted for Shashi Tharoor in the most recent
election for party president only to make sure that individuals like him are
not promoted in Congress.
Our
"courage" was to fight against the systems that you symbolise,
Dikshit wrote in a tweet after voting for Shashi Tharoor. "I voted for
Shashi Tharoor specifically so we get a Congress greedy and selfish people and
manipulators like you never again are promoted in Congress," she added.
Mallikarjun Kharge's senior party colleague Tharoor challenged him for the
position, and Tharoor claimed that only people who lack the will to battle are
tempted to join the BJP. To become the first non-Gandhi Congress president in
24 years, Kharge easily defeated Tharoor. In the presidential election on
October 17, Kharge received 7,897 votes.
Notably, CM Sarma's comments have been made during the Delhi and Gujarat election seasons. On December 1 and 5, there will be two separate rounds of voting. The election results for Himachal Pradesh, whose elections were held on November 12, will be announced on December 8, which also happens to be the day of the vote counting. For the Delhi MCD elections, the nomination process has already begun. The deadline to submit nominations is November 14, and forms will be reviewed on November 16. November 19 is the final day for withdrawing nominations. On December 4, there will be MCD elections. Voter tallies will be tallied on December.
