Digital Desk: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi stated that he has turned down the home ministry’s offer of Z plus security because if Muslim females like Muskan are in danger in this country, then he is also in danger.
“You’re asking me to accept Z-category security because my life is under threat. However, in Parliament, I stated that Asaduddin Owaisi does not require Z category security. Make a move to ensure that everyone is safe. And what is the point to protect me if a girl like Muskan is harassed?” Owaisi stated while addressing at an electoral rally in Uttar Pradesh.
Owasi’s car was fired while he was campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, prompting the home ministry to offer him Z+ security, which he has declined.
A video of a burqa-clad college girl addressing a group of males in front of a college has gone viral amid the ongoing hijab debate in Karnataka. Bibi Muskan Khan, a second-year B. Com student at a Mandya college, has been confirmed as the victim. Muskan was seen shouting Allah-hu- Akbar with her hand up in the air in the viral video, while the boys coming out of the campus chanted Jai Shri Ram.
Later, Muskan explained that she went to the institution to submit an assignment when she was confronted by a group of boys, probably outsiders, chanting Jai Shri Ram.
On Tuesday, the event occurred when conflicts erupted on numerous Karnataka campuses over Muslim women’s right to wear hijab in the classroom.
Further, Muskan claimed that a hijab is permitted in her college’s classrooms, but the burqa is not. Previously, she added, there had been no controversy in her college.
Soon after the incident, Owaisi called Muskan and chatted with her and her family. “On the call, I spoke with Muskan and her family. I prayed for her to maintain her devotion to education while still exercising her religious and personal freedoms. I explained that her bravery has become a source of inspiration for us all.” Owaisi tweeted.
“Her parents were also praised for their outspoken parenting. During my JD(S) campaign in the 2018 Karnataka Assembly elections, I had the pleasure of meeting her father at a function.” Owaisi added.
