Approximately 4,806 homes have been burned down or otherwise destroyed as a result of the violence, according to official police statistics. The cabinet has decided to make it easier for the affected individuals to go back to their homes by starting to build about 1,000 permanent homes throughout all impacted regions. The anticipated cost of this project is Rs. 75 crore.
According to the type of home, financial aid would be given: Rs. 10 lakh for pucca homes, Rs. 7 lakh for semi-pucca homes, and Rs. 5 lakh for kutcha homes. Payments will be made in installments so that beneficiaries can restore their homes gradually.
The cabinet approved the creation of a Directorate of Medical Education to assist students pursuing medical-related studies in addition to addressing housing issues. Additionally, a compensation plan created to assist victims of sexual assault received approval.
