Despite taking extremely strict measures by the Assam Police and the Assam Government against drugs, the flourishing drug business continues across the state.
Recently, the Rupohihat Police conducted an anti-drugs operation. Drug Supplier Mizanur Rahman was arrested by Rupohihat Police during that operation.
During an operation in Gunabari in Nagaon district, the Police have arrested the supplier with soap boxes filled with drugs.
The arrested drug peddler is a resident of Hatipara in Kamrup (R) district.
Based on secret information, the Police conducted the operation and arrested the drug supplier, Mizanur Rahman, who arrived on a motorcycle bearing a registration number AS 01 EG 8693 with drugs.
The weight of the seized drugs is 10.55 grams.
Currently, police are continuing with the interrogation of Mizanur Rahman to gather more information on this.
