Silchar: In yet another blow for the state Congress party of Assam, former Congress MP and senior APCC member Sushmita Dev has resigned from the party. Mahila Congress chief Sushmita Dev has tendered her resignation to All India Congress Committee president, Smt Sonia Gandhi.
The reason behind her resignation has not been mentioned in the resignation letter forwarded to Sonia Gandhi.
