Guwahati: Union Minister for External Affairs Dr S. Jaishankar and Ambassador of Japan to India along with a team of Japanese delegation reached Assam's capital city Guwahati today. The delegation along with the Union Minister for External Affairs visited Ma Kamakhya Temple morning who were accompanied by state ministers Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Siddharth Bhattacharya.

As per sources, the delegates are here to review the Japanese funded projects in the state Important announcements with regards to the setting up of new Japanese projects will be made.

Notably, the 13th Japanese industrial town of India is being set up in Nagarbera.  The Japan External Trade Organisation is heading the project.
