Many members expressed concern that Pakistan's missile tests and nuclear rhetoric were "escalating factors".
Pakistan on Monday conducted a training of launch of a Fatah Series surface-to-surface missile with a range of 120 kilometres as part of the ongoing "Excises Indus".
The members of the UNSC refused to accept the 'false flag' narrative planted by Pakistan and asked whether the Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba was involved in the Pahalgam terror attack.
However, the UN body has not yet published any statement regarding the closed-door meeting.
The 'closed consultations' were requested by Pakistan, a non-permanent member of the UNSC whose presidency for May is currently held by Greece.
The members condemned the terrorist attack, that took 27 civilians' lives on April 22.
Following the meeting, Pakistan's efforts to internationalize the situation failed. The members advised Pakistan to sort out the issues with India bilaterally.
