Digital Desk: Harbhajan Singh To Join Politics? Says, He will decide after thinking about various factors.


The ace spinner recently announced retirement from all forms of cricket, where is he busy now?

Recently, speculations among the Bhajji fans doing rounds on social media when the Chief of Congress Punjab chapter Navjot Singh Sidhu posted a picture with Harbhajan Singh on Twitter with a catchy caption,’ Picture loaded with possibilities’. This led to speculation of him joining the party.

Though, the veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on Friday informed media that he is not ready to join politics at present, but would like to think later about it.


The cricketer said that he hasn't yet taken a call on the matter.

Bhajji replied to a journalist when asked about his future plans that he is not sure about what’s in store for him, he just wants some time to figure out in which direction he should move. If I join politics, how and in what form, I need to figure those things out as the main aim is to help people if I at all take the plunge, he added.


The Punjab state assembly elections are around the corner, Bhajji joining the politics or not is the hot topic of discussion on the internet.


Though the cricketer didn’t want to speak about it openly, people believe that there is little chance that he will participate in the Punjab assembly elections.


The former Indian spinner also expressed his willingness towards his association with the game as he would not want to end his attachment with the game completely.


"As far as cricket is concerned, I will remain associated with the game. I am open to coaching, mentoring IPL sides may be playing a bit of veteran's cricket," he said.
He also announced a gift for his fans this new year!


Bhajji is writing his autobiography and it is set to hit the stands in the next six months.
