Jadeja has joined the ranks of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah in the BCCI's A plus contract category, which pays players Rs 7 crore per year.


Digital Desk: As the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Annual Player Contracts for Team India (Senior Men) for the 2022-23 season on Sunday, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the biggest gainer, while under-pressure batter KL Rahul was among those demoted.


Jadeja joined Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah in the BCCI's A plus contract category, which pays players Rs 7 crore per year. Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel were also big winners after being promoted to the A category from the C and B categories, respectively. A is paid Rs 5 crore, while B is paid Rs 3 crore and C is paid Rs 1 crore.


KL Rahul was demoted from A to B, and Ajinkya Rahane and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were removed from their contracts. Sanju Samson received his first contract and was assigned to the C grade.
